I believe in the Regulative Principle of Worship. However I am still wrestling with what can and can not be included in the RPW. For example the Psalms were the Israelites song book for their worship. Also many of the Churches that believe in the RPW also use the Psalms in their worship. However, as I read the Psalms, such as Psalm 150. It’s hard to sing with a shofar, let alone crashing cymbals. Yet, most who hold to the RPW would say that these instruments can not be used in worship.
Why is that?
