After an extended hiatus, the Iron Sharpens Iron Podcast is about to resume! We will be starting with programs from January of 2016, and plan to release podcast programs at a fairly high rate until we catch up to the current programming.
In August of 2015, we began to experience technical problems, both in the streaming and recording of the program. This occurred periodically all the way through December. These problems affected the quality of the recorded interviews, and resulted in audio that is not understandable, and in some cases is even missing. We have been working through these programs to correct the things that can be corrected, but it is a painstaking process.
In addition, in December of 2015, our webmaster, Jason Delgado, had to step down from his position due to a tragic family loss.
You may be wondering why we are starting the podcast from January 2016, rather than continuing from where we left off last September. Part of the reason is that some recent programs are very timely, and we felt these should be made available as soon as possible.
However, there are several full programs from 2015 that only require minor editing. These will be released into the podcast as soon as they become available. Other programs are missing extended portions of the interview, but still have significant important content. As we are able, we intend to release these partial interviews, provided that they include enough content to allow the guest to represent their topic well. It is our hope that we will be able to re-interview these guests on the same topics at some point in the future.
